About Dovaskin and Our Team

Dovaskin is a cloud accounting platform for Singapore businesses, run by Cloud Accounting & Consultancy Pte. Ltd. The software and the people who implement it come from the same place — that part is deliberate.

Who operates Dovaskin

Dovaskin is run by Cloud Accounting & Consultancy Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-registered company. Our corporate registration details sit in the footer of every page on this site, next to a contact form and a business phone number, so procurement teams, auditors and new clients can find them without asking. The company also appears in the SMEs Go Digital solution directory, which is where a good number of Singapore businesses first come across us.

If you need our registration number for a vendor onboarding form, it is in the footer — no email round trip required. If a form asks for something the footer does not carry, send the question through the contact form and we will reply with the wording you need during Singapore business hours.

Why we built the platform around implementation

Singapore's cloud accounting market is crowded, and most products look alike on a feature list. What separates them is the first month: whether the data migrates cleanly, whether the bank feed works, and whether someone answers when your first GST return looks wrong.

We built Dovaskin around that month, pairing the platform with hands-on onboarding from a Singapore-based team. It is also why our business is services-led rather than self-serve: software alone does not file a GST return, and a support queue does not know your chart of accounts.

The first month

Opening balances imported, bank feeds connected, and a parallel check against your last filed period before you go live.

After go-live

Support stays with the same team that ran your migration, so questions land with people who already know your setup.

How we work with clients

Most clients arrive with a specific trigger: a GST deadline, a bookkeeper leaving, or a desktop package that no longer suits a growing team. The route from there is short and the same every time, with one written quotation before anything starts.

Scoping call

We look at your current books, the package you use today, and who files what. No charge for this call.

Typically 30–45 minutes, by phone or video.

Written quotation

Migration is quoted as a one-time engagement, scoped after we see your setup. You get the figure in writing.

Software, migration and support quoted separately.

Implementation

We import opening balances and history, connect bank feeds, set up GST codes and payroll, then run a parallel check.

Runs against a schedule agreed with you.

Ongoing support

Support continues from the same team after go-live. Questions about a return land with the people who set up your ledger.

During normal Singapore business hours.

When it is not a fit

We would rather turn down a project than take one and hand it to a queue. If your needs fall outside what the platform does, we will say so.

You keep the scoping notes either way.

The kind of businesses we work with

Our clients are typically Singapore SMEs with an in-house admin or bookkeeper and an external accountant. Some are sole directors who file GST quarterly. Others run a finance team of a few people and keep payroll in-house. We also work with accounting firms and consultants who run the software on behalf of their clients, which is a common arrangement here.

The common thread is a need for GST filing, working bank feeds and IRAS-ready records — not a general interest in cloud software. If that sounds like your business, the rest of this page explains what we do; if it does not, we will tell you on the scoping call.

Sole directors

Directors who handle their own bookkeeping and file GST quarterly, with an accountant reviewing at year end.

Growing SMEs

A finance team of a few people, payroll run in-house, and a ledger that has outgrown a desktop package.

Accounting firms

Firms and consultants who run the software on behalf of client companies and need clean period access.

First-time adopters

Businesses moving off spreadsheets entirely, who want the opening balances and GST codes set correctly once.

Working alongside accountants

Many Singapore businesses keep an external accountant after moving to cloud accounting, and the platform is built for that arrangement. Your accountant can be given access to the periods they need, review the GST return before it is filed, and export the audit file when it is required.

We are not trying to replace your accountant. A cleaner ledger makes their work faster, which is usually the outcome everyone wants. If you do not have an accountant, we can discuss how that side of the books is handled before you commit to anything.

How we handle migration questions

One of the first things a prospective client asks is what happens to their existing data. We answer it in detail on the Implementation & Migration page, but the short version is straightforward: we import opening balances and history, connect bank feeds, and run a parallel check against your last filed period before go-live.

Migration is quoted as a one-time engagement, scoped after we have seen your current setup. You get the figure in writing before you commit, and the scope lists what is included so there are no surprises mid-project.

What migration covers

  • Opening balances and prior-period history imported
  • Bank feeds connected and reconciled against your statements
  • GST codes and payroll settings checked before go-live
  • Parallel run against your last filed period
  • Written scope and one-time quotation before work starts

Getting in touch

By phone

+65 6227 8752

For support on an existing account, the phone line is quicker. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (SGT).

You will reach someone in Singapore rather than an offshore queue.

By form or email

For sales and implementation questions, the contact form is usually the fastest route because it reaches the team that handles scoping.

[email protected]

We reply during normal Singapore business hours.

Questions before you decide

A few things clients ask us first

Do you work with businesses outside Singapore?

Our work is built around Singapore requirements: GST filing, bank feeds to local banks, payroll and IRAS-ready records. A company registered elsewhere can still talk to us, but the platform's strongest fit is a Singapore-registered business.

Can we keep our existing accountant?

Yes. Many of our clients do. Your accountant can be given access to the periods they need, review the GST return before filing and export the audit file when required.

What do you need from us to quote a migration?

A look at your current package, how many years of history you want carried over, and who files GST today. From that we scope the work and send the figure in writing before anything starts.

What happens if Dovaskin is not the right fit?

We will say so during the scoping call rather than take on work we cannot support well. You keep the scoping notes either way, and there is no charge for that first conversation.
